Skimle is an insights platform that helps users analyze and organize document-based knowledge. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Skimle (operated by Skimle Oy, Finland).

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register as a paid user for Skimle. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Uploading and analyzing data at Skimle requires payment. By subscribing, you agree to our pricing, billing cycle, and any applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Skimle for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks.
• Reverse engineer, duplicate, or resell any part of the platform.

5. Data Handling and Privacy

• If you delete your account, all associated user data will be permanently deleted.
• Inactive accounts will be automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity, along with all related data.

Skimle cannot guarantee complete protection from unauthorized access or cybercrime. You use the platform at your own risk and agree that Skimle is not liable for any data breach, loss, or corruption caused by third-party attacks.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and code associated with Skimle remains the intellectual property of Skimle Oy. You may not use our trademarks, brand, or platform materials without prior written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skimle shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in Finland.
