Episode 2: What is Skimle and why did we build it?
Here is the second episode of Skimlecast! Olli and Henri discuss why generic AI tools don't cut it for structured analysis of interviews or documents. We share why we built Skimle and how we think about high quality qualitative analysis, and reveal how clueless we are when it comes to modern marketing.
Episode 3: Best practices for conducting interviews
Olli and Henri discuss their learnings on doing interviews, from sampling and preparation to getting the most out of informants. The third episode contains some poor humour but luckily also lots of great tips and trick on how to prepare for and conduct effective interviews. If you want to go deeper to the topic, we've written extensively on interviewing in our Signal & Noise blog, e.g., on interview guide preparation, on conducting effective business interviews and analysing interview transcripts.
Episode 4: Christmas special & secret plans for Q1/2026
In this episode full of merriment, Henri and Olli meet in Skimle Shed with snow falling outside. They address the first listener question and reveal their Christmas plans and Skimle roadmap for the first quarter of 2026.
Episode 5: Four key steps in academic qualitative research
We discuss how you move from well conducted interviews (Episode 3, above) into great theory when doing qualitative analysis in an academic setting. Henri shares his learnings on conducting interview-based research in academic context and Olli comments on similarities and differences to interview-based data gathering he did as a consultant.
