Skimle for curious professionals

Turn scattered data into clear insights

You read widely, talk to people, and gather information from all directions — interviews, reports, emails, meeting notes, survey responses. The hard part is making sense of it all. Skimle is an easy to use platform supporting different data collection and analysis needs of knowledge workers. Upload your documents, describe what you are looking for, and Skimle handles the analysis — in any language, at any scale.

Skimle was created by two knowledge professionals: Olli with 18 years of experience at McKinsey & Company and Henri with 18 years of experience from academic research as a tool they wished they had all along. Meet the team →

Skimle is the Excel for text

Skimle does in hours what used to take weeks: turns interview transcripts, reports, customer feedback statements or any other text data into a structured, methodologically defensible analysis. Upload your documents, and Skimle automatically builds a category hierarchy linked to verbatim quotes — so you can explore and edit the analysis rather than start from a blank page.

  • Take control of large sets of data with ease
  • 3x faster: skip the manual drudgery and jump to insights
  • Flexible tool not tied to specific domains or workflows
  • Rigorous, fully transparent analysis with no hallucinations
  • Data stored safely in the EU with full GDPR compliance

TAKE CONTROL OF LARGE SETS OF MESSY DATA

Synthesise documents across sources

Professionals accumulate transcripts, reports, emails, and meeting notes from everywhere — but reading them sequentially takes days, and spotting patterns manually lets the loudest voice win rather than the most common signal. Skimle reads every document systematically, surfaces recurring themes, and gives you a structured knowledge base linked to verbatim quotes, built in hours rather than weeks.

How it works

COMBINE THE BREADTH OF SURVEYS WITH THE DEPTH OF INTERVIEWS

Gather opinions and insights from people with an AI-assisted interviewing tool

Collecting feedback and insights from people at scale used to mean weeks of scheduling, conducting, and transcribing interviews — a process too slow and expensive for most professionals to run at meaningful breadth. With Skimle Ask, you don't need to start a big research project, you can simply create AI-assisted interviews with smart follow-up questions. Send the link and allos respondents to answer with voice or text on their phones or computers. After getting the data, Skimle's core engine analyses responses automatically so you get qualitative insight at survey scale.

How it works

  • 1. Design your interview

Let AI draft your interview guide and then finalise it yourself. Skimle Ask uses the guide as a basis for a natural conversation, probing for depth where it matters.

  • 2. Share a link

Send the interview link by email, Slack, or easily embed it in a web page. Respondents complete it on their own schedule — no coordination of timing required.

  • 3. AI conducts the conversations

Each respondent gets a personalised conversation. The AI asks follow-up questions, handles tangents gracefully, and keeps the interview on track.

  • 4. Responses are analysed with Skimle

As responses arrive, Skimle structures them into themes. By the time your deadline arrives, the analysis is already done.

  • 5. Present the findings

Export a synthesis report with representative quotes and theme breakdowns — ready for a presentation or document.

WORK WITH DOCUMENTS ACROSS LANGUAGES

Analyse data in different languages

International data arrives in multiple languages, and the alternatives are both flawed: translating everything loses nuance, while running separate per-language analyses produces inconsistent coding that makes cross-country comparison unreliable. Skimle analyses documents in over 100 languages natively and applies consistent theme coding across all of them, giving you one unified picture you can genuinely compare across markets.

How it works

  • 1. Upload documents in any language

Mix languages freely within a single project. Skimle accepts over 100 languages and detects them automatically.

  • 2. Run analysis across the full dataset

A Hund is a dog: Skimle understands every document regardless of language and builds themes from the content — not from translated approximations.

  • 3. See unified themes across countries

Each theme shows which documents and languages contributed to it. Spot what is consistent globally and what varies by market.

  • 4. Compare with confidence

Because the same analytical process is applied to all documents, cross-country comparisons are genuinely like-for-like.

  • 5. Export in the language you need

Generate reports with original-language quotes and translated summaries.
